Minister of Foreign Affairs Cho Tae-yul, who is visiting Japan to attend the eleventh Korea-Japan-China Trilateral Foreign Ministers' Meeting, met with Chief Cabinet Secretary of Japan Hayashi Yoshimasa at 17:05-17:20, March 21.
Minister Cho praised Chief Cabinet Secretary Hayashi for his contribution to the development of Korea-Japan relations and asked him to play a leading role in the process of deepening future-oriented cooperation between the two countries.
With this year marking the 60th anniversary of the normalization of their diplomatic relations, the two sides agreed to faithfully carry out commemorative events between the two governments and thereby to continue the current positive momentum of Korea-Japan relations.
